It is located in the Strandzha mountain, municipality of Sredets along with the Agro-biological base and arboretum for the mycorrhized saplings. Experimental part – 2000/2001 of oak and hazelnut trees with four types of truffles, planting system – 3/3 m. Two other zones of different trees – almond, hazelnut, oak trees etc. – 2003/2006, planting system 4/4 m., pH of the soil – 7-8. Altitude – 350 m.

Exavatum vitt. Spring truffle from Strandzha, Harvest May 2006. It is found below the oak and hornbeam from March to May.  The tuber size is like a large walnut, hard and crispy as a hazelnut. Long preservation period – up to 2 months.
